The Medication Technician (MNA) at Cornerstone at Hampton is responsible for providing direct care to senior residents, including medication assistance and personal care. The role includes engaging with residents in activities, assisting with dining services, and maintaining accurate documentation of care provided. Responsibilities

  • Provide medication assistance and management for residents.
  • Document care provided and track tasks using an electronic health record system.
  • Spend quality time with residents and assist with personal care needs.
  • Join or lead activities with residents to enhance their experience.
  • Escort residents to meals and assist with dining services as needed.
  • Collaborate with various departments to foster a cooperative and respectful atmosphere.

Requirements

  • Valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Medication Nursing Assistant (MNA) certification.
  • Ability to stand, sit, bend, and transfer residents with or without assistance.
  • Effective communication skills with residents and co-workers.
  • Punctuality and reliability in assisting residents with daily living activities.

Nice-to-haves
