About the position
White Pine Senior Living is seeking a dedicated CNA/Caregiver for our Inver Grove Heights I location. This full-time position involves working as part of a team to provide exceptional care and service to residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. Caregivers play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for residents, making a meaningful difference in their daily lives.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents to reach and maintain the highest level of performance and independence while assisting them with personal care and daily living activities.
- Take and record temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed.
- Document services performed.
- Observe and report any changes in physical and emotional condition of residents.
- Assist residents with personal care which may include shampooing of hair, assisting with showering/bathing, incontinence management, transferring assistance, and medication administration.
- Communicate and interact in a professional, respectful, and kind manner.
- Ability to communicate and assist residents with dementia or related diagnosis.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
Requirements
- No experience necessary. Paid training will be provided.
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to read, write, speak & understand the English language.
