About the position

The Meetings and Events Manager at Archer Hotel is responsible for coordinating all event space and function needs, as well as sales activities related to corporate, weekend, and leisure markets. This role involves maintaining professional relationships with clients, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting sales efforts to achieve revenue goals.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all event space and function needs for corporate, weekend, and leisure markets.
  • Provide sales support and maintain professional relationships with client contacts.
  • Develop, monitor, and achieve the revenue budget.
  • Participate in weekly sales meetings and hold weekly BEO meetings.
  • Make sales appointments and cold calls to prospect accounts.
  • Determine availability and space requirements for events and close sales with contracts.
  • Respond to event space and hotel inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Conduct site tours for potential clients and guests.
  • Create Banquet Event Orders in collaboration with clients.
  • Maintain relationships with existing and potential clients to increase revenue.
  • Assist in implementing special promotions for direct sales segments.
  • Produce meeting invoices in a timely manner and follow up with clients post-event.

Requirements

  • Mid-level experience in hospitality or service industry.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Customer service orientation.
