About the position

As a Meeting and Event Planner at Flik Hospitality Group, you will be responsible for managing guest services at a Conference Center. This role involves overseeing a team of coordinators and receptionists to ensure that guests' needs are met with a high level of customer service. You will act as a liaison between the Conference Center and customers, ensuring that all details of meetings and events are arranged effectively.

Responsibilities

• Plan and communicate customer needs to all departments.
• Work directly with the Sales Training Department to arrange meetings and reserve space appropriately.
• Maintain constant communication with the Sales Training Department regarding changes and customer feedback.
• Act as a liaison between the Conference Center and customers.
• Prepare all group service orders using room reservation software.
• Collaborate with Audio Visual & Conference Services Departments for room setups and special requests.
• Coordinate with the Food & Beverage Department for food quality and menu maintenance.
• Assist the General Manager in analyzing the Training Center operation and reporting issues.
• Help create quarterly Operational Review reports, including PowerPoint slides.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary with related conference services experience.
• At least two years of hotel or conference center experience.
• Knowledge of industry trends.
• Superior quantitative, oral, and written communication skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and strategizing skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
• Proactive mindset to anticipate and support business changes.
• High standards of personal integrity and ethical behavior.
