About the position

As a Meeting and Event Planner at Flik Hospitality Group, you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest services at our Conference Center. Your primary responsibility will be to meet and exceed the needs of our guests, providing a high level of customer service that reflects our commitment to hospitality. You will be tasked with building and maintaining positive relationships with clients, associates, and suppliers, ensuring that every event is meticulously planned and executed. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying and resolving any issues that may arise during events, minimizing complications and ensuring a seamless experience for all attendees. In this dynamic position, you will be expected to manage multiple events simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the events are well-coordinated, from logistics to catering. Your ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, will be essential in conveying information clearly and maintaining strong relationships with clients and team members alike. Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, associates, and suppliers.
  • Ensure events are well planned and prepared successfully.
  • Identify and resolve event issues to minimize complications.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not necessary if candidate has related conference services experience.
  • At least two years of hotel or conference center experience.
  • Customer-focused with a friendly, outgoing personality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word, and Excel.
