About the position

As a Customer Service Representative at H-E-B, you will play a vital role in ensuring customers feel welcome and valued. This part-time position involves maintaining a well-stocked department, providing superior customer service, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Responsibilities

• Stock and rotate items as needed
• Assist with inventory control; load, unload, and move products
• Organize, clean, and prepare back area for the night crew and incoming trucks
• Organize merchandise on pallets to present the department well to the public
• Ensure integrity of shelf tags and signage in the department; create/prepare signage as needed
• Maintain standards in shrink, safety, inventory control, and sanitation
• Check shipments for out-of-date and damaged products to ensure freshness and quality
• Build, stock, maintain, and take down store displays
• Perform duties of Customer Service Assistant as needed
• Provide superior customer service and assist customers with product selections
• Merchandise products effectively and use suggestive selling techniques
• Clean and sanitize sales floor, display cases, prep areas, and equipment
• Comply with departmental SOPs and store operating procedures

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Strong customer service skills
• Communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Nice-to-haves

• Knowledge of beauty and cosmetic aids
• Knowledge in the audio/video field
• Knowledge of specialty products, movies, music, electronics, and video games
