About The Position

The Member Associate at Kitsap Credit Union is a full-time, in-person role focused on assisting members with financial transactions and new accounts. This position emphasizes customer service, sales, and education about digital and self-service options, contributing to the overall member experience and the credit union's growth.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Cash handling, customer service and/or retail sales experience.
• Must be able to work Saturdays and extended business hours.
• Must be registered with the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) within 30 days of assuming level III of the Member Associate role and comply with the SAFE Act regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with their financial needs, new accounts, and transactions.
• Identify, develop, and close business relationships to build market position.
• Educate and introduce current and new members to new products and services, self-service, and assisted self-serve options.
• Understand and recommend products and services based on the member's need.
• Use effective sales techniques that result in a positive member experience and meet or exceed sales goals.
• Complete all documentation and forms accurately and efficiently according to policies, procedures, and regulations.
