Member Center Associate (Call Center)

About the position

The Member Center Associate at Member One Federal Credit Union plays a crucial role in enhancing the member experience by providing exceptional service and financial knowledge over the phone. This position is designed to support members' needs and inquiries, ensuring they receive accurate information and assistance with their accounts. The associate will work in a collaborative environment, contributing to the credit union's mission of helping members achieve their financial dreams.

Responsibilities

• Answer inquiries received through the Member Center via phone, fax, mail, online banking, and the Internet.
• Provide superior service to members and potential members, maintaining a professional and courteous manner.
• Respond to member inquiries regarding deposit services, account information, and transaction requests.
• Educate members on the features and benefits of credit union services and products.
• Accurately record member transactions and information requests using computer systems.
• Market and cross-sell current and new products and services of the credit union.
• Perform various administrative and clerical duties as required.
• Comply with federal regulations and credit union policies, including the Bank Secrecy Act and fair lending laws.

Requirements

• Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
• Ability to handle a high volume of telephone calls.
• Resourcefulness in solving problems and addressing member needs.
• Attention to detail when updating member accounts and processing transactions.
• Knowledge of financial products and services offered by the credit union.
