About the position

The Member Center Operations Specialist at Honor Credit Union is responsible for supporting the Member Center and Contact Center teams by addressing procedural questions and providing expertise in member center operations. This full-time position is hybrid, requiring occasional in-office presence in Berrien Springs, MI, to meet business needs. The role emphasizes exceptional member service and operational efficiency, contributing to the overall mission of providing financial solutions for members' success.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Member Center and Contact Center Teams with procedural related questions via queue calls, e-forms, or emails.
• Educate frontline staff on shared branching questions and corrections.
• Order cash for member centers and balance high-risk accounts.
• Process incoming and outgoing wires and upload the Patriot Officer Report daily for compliance.
• Communicate with other credit unions to resolve issues or questions for member centers.
• Maintain and build vendor relationships with Brinks, Loomis, Empyreal, C3, and CXI.
• Support other Operation teams as needed.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of similar or related experience, including time spent in preparatory positions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and related applications.
• Strong listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work self-directed with minimal supervision.
• Highly detail-oriented.
