About the position

The Member Concierge & Guest Services position at Reynolds Lake Oconee is focused on providing exceptional customer service to both internal and external guests. The role involves answering inquiries, making reservations for various amenities, and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out experience. The concierge will also be responsible for maintaining communication with team members and management, as well as handling administrative tasks related to guest services.

Responsibilities

  • Answer questions and make reservations for internal and external customers.
  • Deliver exemplary service from check-in to check-out.
  • Provide directions and information about Reynolds Lake Oconee and its history.
  • Document all calls for reservations and inquiries accurately.
  • Review and familiarize with all activities/events on property and in the local community.
  • Make and confirm reservations for tee times, dining, pontoons, shuttle, lodging, tennis, recreation, fitness, and member events.
  • Cover Corporate Front Desk shifts and assist with related duties.
  • Interface with Ritz Carlton reservation staff to confirm reservations.
  • Check and update the Golf Cancellation Policy daily.
  • Audit reservation systems to ensure correct bookings for members and guests.
  • Monitor event waitlists for accommodation opportunities.
  • Stand and greet guests upon arrival and departure.
  • Process arrivals and offer beverages to guests while they wait.
  • Log maintenance concerns and provide service recovery to guests.
  • Complete daily reservation Audit Report for Accounting.
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked coffee station throughout the day.

Requirements

  • 2 years of office-related and customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality industry is preferred.
  • Intermediate computer skills using Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Well organized and detail-oriented with multitasking ability.
  • Pleasant speaking voice with skills of diplomacy and tact.
  • Ability to handle multiple calls while maintaining a calm demeanor.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
