About the position

The Member Experience Representative at Goldfish Swim School plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for families and children participating in swim lessons. This part-time position involves managing front desk operations, guiding new families through their initial experience, and maintaining a welcoming environment that supports the school's mission of providing top-notch swim education.

Responsibilities

• Manage front desk tasks and maintain a clean facility.
• Introduce families to the swim program and guide them through their first days.
• Initiate conversations with families about lessons and schedules.
• Address parent concerns and provide solutions to ensure continued enrollment.
• Prepare class schedules and review daily lessons for students.
• Perform administrative duties and manage inventory.

Requirements

• Valid Lifeguard Training certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Experience in customer service or sales.
• Ability to swim and pass a basic swim test (50 yards).
• Strong communication skills to interact with children, parents, and team members.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience as a Child Care Worker, Camp Counselor, or Babysitter.
• Background in coaching sports or fitness instruction.
• Previous roles in customer success or hospitality.
