About the position

As a Member Onboarding Specialist at Goldenwest Credit Union, you will play a crucial role in enhancing member engagement and satisfaction. This part-time position is designed for individuals who are passionate about providing exceptional service and making a positive impact on the lives of our members. You will be responsible for cultivating long-term relationships with members and prospective members, ensuring they receive the best possible service and support as they navigate our credit union offerings. Your daily tasks will include communicating with members via phone and email, recognizing their needs, and cross-selling relevant products and services that can help them save time and money. In this role, you will be expected to open new accounts, process loans, and provide information about various services offered by the credit union. Consistent follow-up with members is essential to maintain trust and ensure their needs are met. You will also be required to comply with all regulations and participate in ongoing education to further your career development within the credit union. Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and effectively manage long-term, trusting relationships with members.

  • Open new accounts, loans, and other services cross-sold.
  • Provide consistent member follow-up to ensure satisfaction.
  • Comply with all regulations as required by law.
  • Actively participate in continuing education related to credit union career development.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Prior sales-related experience preferred
