About the position

The Member Service Advisor III position at Bellco Credit Union involves providing exceptional service to members while assisting with various financial transactions and account management. This role requires a strong focus on sales and customer service, as the advisor will be responsible for identifying members' financial needs, cross-selling products, and ensuring a positive experience during interactions. The position requires flexibility to work across multiple branches and may involve processing transactions, opening new accounts, and analyzing credit reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist branches with opening new accounts and analyzing credit bureau reports.
• Interview members to identify financial needs and sales opportunities.
• Initiate computer-based credit applications and analyze credit scores.
• Match financial products and services to members' needs.
• Process a variety of financial transactions in a timely and professional manner.
• Communicate key features and benefits of Bellco products and services to members.
• Deepen member relationships by cross-selling products and services.
• Accurately enter and complete loan applications in Bellco systems.
• Meet goals assigned by the host branch manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 1 year of sales or customer service experience preferred.
• 6 months of cash handling experience required.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with Bellco or in financial services preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Bilingual in Spanish and English for additional pay.
• Experience in banking preferred.
