Community West Credit Union is seeking a Member Service Representative I to join their Kentwood branch team. The position involves answering member inquiries regarding accounts, payments, products, and services, utilizing internal software systems to provide accurate information. Responsibilities
- Answer basic member questions regarding accounts, payments, products, and services promptly and courteously.
- Utilize GOLD, a CU*Answers software system, and other internal systems to access member account information.
- Assist members with their inquiries and provide solutions to their problems.
- Participate in community events and fundraising opportunities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- Good problem-solving skills and basic math skills.
- Ability to count and handle a high volume of cash and balance a cash drawer.
- Comfort in using a computer, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Excellent listening skills and ability to remain calm in high-pressure situations.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills that project a positive and professional image.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with database software is a plus.
