About the position

The Member Service Representative is a remote position focused on providing exceptional service to credit union members. This role involves answering phone calls, assisting with inquiries related to membership, banking products, and services, and ensuring member satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving. The representative will work in a collaborative team environment, utilizing various data systems and applications to meet member needs and expectations.

Responsibilities

• Answer phone calls and assist with questions and requests regarding membership, banking products, services, and rates.
• Utilize knowledge of credit union products and data systems to provide information and assist callers.
• Complete required member verification and review accounts to communicate company policies and procedures.
• Specialize in either digital, cards, or loans-related queues and process related transactions.
• Correspond with other departments and management through email for additional requests or research.
• Perform additional job-related projects and duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

• 6 months of experience in customer service is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize work effectively.
• Experience navigating and utilizing multiple platforms/computer software simultaneously.
• Experience in a remote work environment with dual monitors is a plus.
