About the position

The Member Service Representative at OUCU Financial will serve as the primary point of contact for members at the new Lancaster branch, which is set to open in early 2025. This role focuses on providing exceptional member service, introducing the credit union's offerings to the local community, and fostering strong relationships with members by assisting them with various financial products and services.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with opening new accounts and provide guidance on account features and benefits.
• Identify all products and services needed by the member, including consumer loans, mortgage and home equity products, deposit and saving products, and financial planning services.
• Recommend and cross-sell other products and services to meet members' financial needs.
• Assist members with account maintenance such as access to services, account discrepancies, and adding or reducing service features.
• Respond to member inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns.

Requirements

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with members.
• Ability to understand and explain financial products and services.
• Experience in customer service or a related field is preferred.

Nice-to-haves

• Previous experience in a financial institution or credit union is a plus.
• Knowledge of financial products and services.
