About the position
The Member Services Associate at Planet Fitness is responsible for creating a positive experience for members and guests by delivering exceptional customer service. This part-time role involves various front desk activities and requires a passion for fitness and health.
Responsibilities
- Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
- Handle all front desk related activities including answering phones and assisting callers with questions.
- Check members into the system and facilitate new member sign-ups.
- Take prospective members on tours of the facility.
- Facilitate updates to member accounts as needed.
- Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to management as necessary.
- Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.
Requirements
- Customer service background preferred.
- Basic computer proficiency.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
