About the position

The Member Support Specialist at One Medical serves as an ambassador for patients, focusing on enhancing the in-office experience through exceptional service and communication. This role involves removing barriers to care, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the office environment aligns with One Medical's brand. The specialist will handle various administrative tasks, support team development, and utilize technology to facilitate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Use C-I-CARE framework in all patient interactions to ensure a positive in-office experience.
• Perform front of house duties including check in/check out, insurance verification, and paperwork tasks.
• Contribute to team development through rounding, attending team huddles, and supporting in-office providers.
• Master technology suite including Slack, G-suite, Zoom, and Electronic Medical Record System 1Life.
• Perform opening and closing duties and maintain the look and feel of patient and employee spaces.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in high touch customer or patient facing roles.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience working on collaborative, diverse and feedback-driven multi-disciplinary teams.
• Proven track record of persisting through change and taking action on challenges.
• Proficiency in computer technology such as typing and using multiple software systems simultaneously.
