About the position

The position involves assisting management in supervising associates in a retail environment, ensuring compliance with company policies, and providing excellent member service. The role includes training associates, managing membership processes, overseeing merchandise organization, and maintaining financial records. The individual will also be responsible for developing and implementing business processes to meet operational needs while promoting a culture of ethics and integrity within the team.

Responsibilities

  • Assist management with the supervision of associates by assigning duties and providing feedback.
  • Train associates on processes and procedures related to member service.
  • Communicate and support membership by providing information on membership types and benefits.
  • Process memberships, upgrades, and credit accounts, and encourage membership renewals.
  • Participate in sales and marketing events and maintain marketing documentation.
  • Ensure member service by assisting with purchasing decisions and transactions.
  • Oversee assigned area by handling claims, returns, and organizing merchandise.
  • Complete accounting records and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Develop and implement processes to meet business needs by collaborating with various stakeholders.
  • Promote compliance with company policies and assist management with ethical issues.
  • Lead and participate in teams to ensure work quality and timelines are met.

Requirements

  • 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (e.g., cash register).
  • 6 months customer service experience.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
