About the position
Orangetheory Fitness is seeking a passionate Membership Advisor/Sales Associate to join our team at our Mendham location. This role is integral to our fitness studio, where we offer a unique one-hour full-body workout that combines endurance, strength, and power through heart-rate based interval training. As a Membership Advisor, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming environment for our members and guests, ensuring they have a positive experience from the moment they walk in. You will work closely with our fitness coaches and team to promote our services and help clients achieve their fitness goals. In this position, you will be expected to meet and exceed key performance indicators related to membership and retail sales. This includes conducting studio tours for prospective clients, following up on leads, and responding promptly to member inquiries and concerns. You will also be responsible for maintaining an organized front desk area and ensuring the studio is clean and welcoming. Participation in two OTF workouts per week is required, allowing you to experience our unique training firsthand and better connect with our members. Responsibilities
- Meeting and exceeding all key performance sales indicators for the fitness studio including membership sales, retail sales, and maximizing workout traffic.
- Leading OTF studio tours with prospects and/or fitness program holders.
- Following up and following through activities with all prospective clients.
- Responding immediately to member requests, inquiries, and concerns.
- Greeting members and guests promptly and enthusiastically to create a friendly positive experience at the OTF studio.
- Accurately following the daily studio checklist (pre/during/post) shift activities.
- Participating in 2 OTF workouts per week.
- Maintaining an organized and clean lobby/front desk area.
- Cleaning the studio as needed.
- Working closely with the Fitness Team to ensure that processes are fulfilled.
- Attending and participating in all relative OTF training programs.
Requirements
- Prior sales experience required
- Excellent customer service skills
- Solid verbal and written communication skills required
- Able to multi-task and excel in a busy environment
- Ability to work and function in a team environment
- Health & Fitness minded individuals required
- High School diploma required
Nice-to-haves
- 1 year of sales experience (Preferred)
- 1 year of customer service experience (Preferred)
