About the position

The Membership Consultant (Outside Sales) role focuses on engaging with the senior community in Montgomery, Alabama, to promote and facilitate access to quality medical care through membership in medical centers. This position combines both business-to-consumer (B2C) and business-to-business (B2B) sales strategies, emphasizing the importance of community engagement and relationship building.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with the senior community to inform and encourage them to join medical centers.
  • Conduct B2C and B2B sales activities to promote membership.
  • Utilize effective community engagement strategies to reach potential members.
  • Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage sales activities and follow-ups.
  • Solve problems and address concerns of seniors regarding medical care options.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • At least 1 year of sales or community relations experience; 2+ years preferred.
  • Experience with Medicare Advantage is necessary.
  • Familiarity with or experience in working with the senior community or medically underserved individuals is a plus.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Benefits

  • Base salary of $50,000 per year with unlimited commission potential (average earnings of $80,000 - $100,000).
