About the position

The Membership Coordinator at the Harvard Club of New York City is responsible for supporting new member initiatives, coordinating onboarding processes, and assisting with various membership events and administrative tasks. This role involves interacting with members, managing inquiries, and ensuring a seamless experience for new and prospective members.

Responsibilities

  • Manage membership applications and respond to inquiries about club benefits, fees, and onboarding.
  • Provide clubhouse tours for prospective and existing members.
  • Assist with new member activation, including creating ID cards, welcome emails, and account setup.
  • Maintain membership records, update databases, and ensure accurate processing of payments.
  • Support membership events and prepare recruitment materials.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • 1 year of customer service experience required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Hospitality or service-oriented experience is a plus but not required.
