About the position

The Membership Coordinator at the California Association of Health Facilities is responsible for managing membership-related activities and services. This role serves as the primary contact for membership inquiries, overseeing the membership database, engaging with members, and coordinating events such as the annual House of Delegates. The coordinator also provides administrative support to various teams and ensures effective communication between members and the association.

Responsibilities

  • Process new member applications and requests to terminate membership.
  • Maintain and update the association database (Euclid ClearVantage).
  • Recruit new members and implement membership campaigns.
  • Respond to membership inquiries and resolve dues issues.
  • Organize the annual House of Delegates and manage delegate credentialing.
  • Coordinate the volunteer committee nomination and appointment process.
  • Prepare confirmation and thank you notifications for committee members.
  • Research provider data and vital statistics related to membership.
  • Assist in the production and distribution of member resource materials.
  • Serve as a liaison with the national association regarding membership issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Strong administrative support skills.
  • Experience in membership-related activities or a related field.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with association membership databases, preferably Euclid ClearVantage.
  • Ability to research data and statistics from public records and the Internet.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual meeting platforms.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with membership campaigns and cross-promotion strategies.
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance related to skilled nursing facilities.
