About the position

The Membership Coordinator at Chevy Chase Club is responsible for being the first point of contact for members, guiding them through the membership process and maintaining strong relationships with current members. This role supports the Director of Membership and Marketing and involves day-to-day operations, offering a mix of teamwork and independent work. The position provides opportunities to gain experience in membership operations, event coordination, and board administration, with potential for growth within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Assist in processing new member proposals, including verifying eligibility and preparing necessary documentation.
• Help facilitate the membership process from start to finish.
• Maintain up-to-date records in the membership database, ensuring all member information is accurate and current.
• Respond promptly to member inquiries while delivering exceptional service.
• Perform all general administrative duties, including answering phones, sending emails, preparing letters, filing documents, sorting, scanning, data entry, and preparing reports as needed.

Requirements

• Professional demeanor with the ability to build rapport and maintain confidentiality.
• Extremely organized, detail-oriented, and self-motivated.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Experienced in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with membership database software (Salesforce) is a plus.
