The Membership Database Administrator plays a crucial role in maintaining the functions associated with the WSIA member database, supporting the Assistant Director of Technology Operations with system upgrades or improvements, and managing day-to-day IT operations for WSIA staff. This position is essential for ensuring that all technology systems are functioning optimally and that the staff has the necessary support for their technical needs. The administrator will be responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining all desktops, laptops, tablets, and cell phones, overseeing the installation and maintenance of WSIA's network and Internet access, and ensuring the security and functionality of all operations related to association and membership data. In addition to technical support, the Membership Database Administrator will serve as a liaison with the Insurtech Committee, providing support for committee meetings and events. This includes managing the call for presenters, coordinating panels, and ensuring that all technical needs are met during onsite events. The role also involves maintaining third-party software tools, such as Office 365 and Adobe Creative Suite, and evaluating the fit of existing membership databases while leading the search for alternative solutions that integrate with other systems used by WSIA. The administrator will also be responsible for primary technical support for the WSIA website and member portal, ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly and efficiently. This includes leading project plans for website enhancements and providing support for the WSIA phone system and printers. The role requires a proactive approach to managing technology projects, including budget preparation and compliance with PCI requirements.
