About the position

The Director, Membership Development and Engagement at Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) is responsible for operational tasks related to GPO membership sales, focusing on both prospective and current members. This role involves collaborating with various teams to enhance membership engagement, retention, and growth through strategic planning and effective communication. The position is based onsite at CHC's corporate offices in Plano, Texas, and offers a dynamic work environment with a strong emphasis on company culture and employee well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Support and implement membership growth initiatives by developing and executing strategic plans.
  • Monitor industry trends and challenges related to membership growth.
  • Attend meetings with prospective clients to understand their needs and operational tools.
  • Establish processes for prospect qualification and lead follow-up.
  • Collaborate with teams to manage member information and data systems effectively.
  • Manage relationships with State Hospital Associations and represent CHC at industry events.
  • Create and manage KPIs related to membership and program success.
  • Analyze membership data to identify opportunities for enhancements and new initiatives.
  • Collaborate on RFP responses and project pursuit strategies.
  • Evaluate and propose changes to improve the prospecting process.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare supply chain or 5-7 years without a degree.
  • Consultative sales experience in the healthcare industry preferred.
  • Ability to interact with senior leadership effectively.
  • Working knowledge of hospital operations and GPO offerings.
  • Demonstrated experience in membership or audience business development preferred.
  • Recent experience with Salesforce preferred.
  • Strong strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong client-facing skills and experience in group presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and materials management information systems.
