About The Position

The Membership & Engagement Manager at the National Limousine Association (NLA) is responsible for enhancing member engagement and retention through effective management of membership operations and communications. This role involves analyzing membership trends, maintaining the membership database, and responding to member inquiries, all while working closely with the NLA team and stakeholders to promote the benefits of membership.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of trade association membership programs and procedures, especially those related to dues management.
  • Management experience, especially overseeing membership and customer service-related functions.
  • Working knowledge of AMS databases, particularly Rhythm.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of the membership sales process.
  • Practical knowledge, skills, and abilities usually acquired through an undergraduate degree and a minimum of 5-7 years of related work experience.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to report on progress of projects, initiatives, goals, etc.

  • Sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Learn, understand, and communicate the NLA membership benefits to current, lapsed, and prospective members.
  • Utilize management and leadership skills to facilitate the continued growth of the Association.
  • Maintain and update the membership database (Rhythm) and its contents.
  • Assist in creating, editing, and quality control of documents including renewal invoices and member benefits materials.
  • Print and mail membership invoices, certificates, and new member kits.
  • Attend NLA meetings and events both virtually and in person as needed.
  • Manage NLA Committees as assigned.
  • Assist with multiple aspects of event and show planning.
  • Schedule internal and external meetings.
  • Manage and execute assigned programs and initiatives.
  • Process invoices and prepare vouchers for expenses per policies.
  • Accurately code membership dues revenue for financial reporting.
