Membership Sales Ambassador

About the position

The Membership Sales Ambassador at BJ's Wholesale Club is responsible for driving membership acquisition and retention while providing exceptional customer service. This role involves engaging with potential and existing members, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring a positive shopping experience. The ambassador will also handle merchandise returns and exchanges, support club policies, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute membership acquisition and retention strategies.
• Provide excellent customer service to members and resolve inquiries.
• Handle merchandise returns, exchanges, and pick-ups.
• Support the application of club policies and procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized club environment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to achieve goals.
• Deliver service excellence through all points of contact with members.
• Assist with Buy Online and Pick Up In Club (BOPIC) orders.

Requirements

• Prior front line/customer service or sales experience preferred.
• Basic math skills preferred.
• Computer proficiency preferred.
