About the position

The Memory Care Director is responsible for leading the Memory Care Program at Belle Reve Senior Living, ensuring that the community meets its service standards and program goals. This role involves assessing residents' individual needs, coordinating activities, and ensuring compliance with regulations while fostering a positive atmosphere for residents, families, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead the community's Memory Care Program while meeting or exceeding service standards and program goals.
• Assess residents in the Memory Care Program to understand their individual needs in collaboration with family members.
• Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and local regulations, setting the standard of excellence for the Memory Care Neighborhood.
• Coordinate resident activities, care planning, quality improvement, and infection control.
• Lead the Care team by treating staff and residents with respect and dignity.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year experience in managing a memory care environment.
• Knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and related dementia.
• Ability to manage and coordinate multiple and diverse tasks and services.
• Education: College degree.
• Valid driver's license.
