About the position
The Memory Care Director at The Carlisle of Palm Beach is responsible for leading the Memory Care department, ensuring high-quality care for residents with dementia and Alzheimer's. This role involves developing and executing care programs, maintaining quality assurance, and fostering a supportive environment for both residents and staff. The director will also engage with families to keep them informed about their loved ones' care and progress.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 'Meet Me Where I Am' approach to Memory Care.
- Implement and maintain a Quality Assurance program.
- Plan, develop, and innovate program services.
- Recruit, train, coach, and direct staff in the Lilac Trace department.
- Communicate with families and residents regarding care issues and developments.
Requirements
- Combination of education and/or experience in Memory Care, Dementia Care, or Alzheimer's.
- 2-3 years of experience in programming in a Senior Living environment or similar.
- First Aid & CPR Certified.
- At least 3-5 years of related work experience as a Memory Care Director.
