About the position

The Head Coach for Men's Soccer at Winston-Salem Forsyth County Schools is a part-time position focused on leading and developing the high school men's soccer team. The role involves coaching, mentoring student-athletes, and managing team activities in accordance with the school's athletic program.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach the men's soccer team during practices and games.
• Develop training programs and strategies to enhance team performance.
• Mentor student-athletes in both athletic and personal development.
• Collaborate with the Principal and Athletic Director on additional coaching duties as assigned.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Successful high school and/or college soccer experience or other relevant experience.
• Hold or be eligible to hold a North Carolina commercial driver's license to operate a school activity bus.
• Ability to pass periodic US Department of Transportation random controlled substance screenings.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience coaching at the high school or college level.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
