About The Position
The Men's Varsity Soccer Head Coach at Goshen High School is responsible for organizing and supervising the total sports program. The coach must have previous successful coaching experience in the assigned sport and substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of soccer. The head coach serves as a role model for student athletes and is tasked with instructing them in fundamental skills, strategy, and physical training necessary for individual and team success. The position also involves upgrading knowledge and skills through coaching clinics and observations. The coach must balance the community's expectations for winning with the objectives of good sportsmanship and mental health.
