About the position

The position involves maintaining a client treatment caseload, providing outreach and training to various organizations, and participating in emergency assessments and crisis intervention. The role requires compliance with federal and state regulations while ensuring the confidentiality of client information. The candidate will represent the organization in the community and participate in ongoing training to stay updated on relevant practices.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a client treatment caseload including coordinating team meetings and case management activities.
• Provide outreach, information, and training to schools, local governments, service providers, and community organizations.
• Coordinate services with other agency departments and community organizations.
• Provide emergency assessments and crisis intervention.
• Arrange work schedule as necessary to meet program and consumer service needs.
• Participate in 24-hour emergency coverage rotation as directed.
• Represent Richland County Health and Human Services to the community through professional interaction and public speaking.
• Comply with applicable federal and state laws and agency procedures.
• Participate in ongoing training to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information as required by HIPAA.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related human service field preferred.
• State of Wisconsin Social Work certification or ability to obtain certification within two years of hire date preferred.
• Current training in recovery concepts, mental illness, and substance abuse disorders.
• Experience working with consumers with mental illness and substance use disorders.
• Working knowledge of computers, computer programs, typing, and data entry.
• Current WI driver's license and unlimited access to reliable transportation.
