About the position

This part-time, contract, and internship position involves working closely with patients to provide support in their mental health journey. Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments to evaluate mental health status and needs.
• Implement crisis intervention strategies to ensure patient safety.
• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans.
• Provide support during psychotherapy sessions, utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy.
• Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient interactions and progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support.
• Engage patients in therapeutic activities that promote mental wellness.
• Conduct research on best practices in mental health care to enhance service delivery.

Requirements

• Experience or training in mental health care, psychology, or related fields is preferred.
• Familiarity with coding medical records and documentation standards is a plus.
• Strong understanding of crisis intervention techniques and patient assessment methods.
• Knowledge of psychotherapy practices and cognitive behavioral therapy is desirable.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
