The Mental Health Clinician / Therapist at Monte Nido Portland plays a crucial role in providing compassionate care to adults struggling with eating disorders. This position involves delivering individual, group, and family therapy, while also engaging in discharge planning and therapeutic meal support. The clinician will work within a dynamic clinical team to foster recovery and promote healthy relationships with food and exercise.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
• Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
• Providing therapeutic meal support while modeling a healthy relationship with food
• Delivering safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client based on their unique circumstances

Requirements

• Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
