The Mental Health Clinician / Therapist at Monte Nido Portland plays a crucial role in providing therapeutic support to adults struggling with eating disorders. This position focuses on delivering individual, group, and family therapy while fostering a compassionate and empathetic environment for clients on their recovery journey. The clinician will work collaboratively with families, outpatient providers, and insurance companies to ensure comprehensive care and support for each client.

Responsibilities

• Providing individual, group, and family therapy
• Serving as liaison with families and outpatient providers
• Interacting with insurance companies for pre-certification and utilization management
• Participating in discharge and aftercare planning
• Providing therapeutic meal support while modeling a healthy relationship with food
• Delivering safe, empathetic, and affirming care for each client based on their unique circumstances

Requirements

• Master's degree in clinical counseling or related discipline
• State license (or license-eligible) in a counseling field (e.g., Psychologist, LMFT, LCSW, LPC)
• Prior experience with eating disorders and higher levels of care is helpful
• Knowledge of diversity, equity, and inclusion practices
