About the position

Addiction and Psychotherapy Services is seeking a Mental Health Counselor/Case Manager to provide individual counseling and treatment for patients with Opioid Use Disorder and other substance use disorders. The role involves working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive psychiatric services and support patients in their recovery journey. The position offers a flexible and supportive work environment, with opportunities for professional development.

Responsibilities

• Individual patient counseling for opioid and other substance use disorders and concurrent psychiatric and psychosocial problems.
• Individual treatment planning.
• New patient screening and assessments.
• Leading a variety of therapeutic and educational groups.
• Coordination with multidisciplinary staff, including psychiatrist and nurses.
• Learning Federal and Texas State regulations for Narcotic Treatment Programs (NTPs).
• Assist with maintenance of accreditation.

Requirements

• Valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor (LCDC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Experience with substance use disorder treatment.
• Experience leading groups.
