About the position

The Mental Health Professional at Centurion provides essential mental health case management services within a correctional setting. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive mental health care, including conducting intake assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions. The position is full-time, with a standard schedule of Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Provide mental health case management services to patients in a correctional setting.
• Conduct intake assessments and crisis interventions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans for patients.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions.
• Consult with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive mental health care.

Requirements

• Masters level degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active Mental Health Professional license preferred; Registered Interns and/or new graduates eligible for registered intern license.
• Current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR certification required.
• Ability to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance.

Nice-to-haves
