About the position

The Mental Health Program Specialist at Johns Hopkins University will support the education, training, and research mission of the Center for Indigenous Health. This role involves coordinating the administration of training and development programs, facilitating and evaluating training for program coordinators, and collaborating with faculty and senior staff to enhance program effectiveness for participants and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Define and document the Center for Indigenous Health Chinle-site programs' scope, objectives, activities, milestones, and outcomes based on partner needs.
  • Create long- and short-term plans for Center programs that align with the Center's portfolio of programs.
  • Coordinate multi-partner engagement in the collaborative design and delivery of program activities.
  • Develop collaborative relationships with partner communities and network-serving organizations.
  • Provide project updates to partners and manage expectations.
  • Maintain proactive feedback channels with executives, colleagues, and partners.
  • Prepare project status reports, risk management assessments, and other program lifecycle documentation.
  • Create and communicate routine updates, such as presentations and meeting summaries.
  • Assess program needs and activate internal subject matter experts or external partners.
  • Adjust schedules and deliverable timelines as required to meet project goals.
  • Promote cooperation with teams across the Center to develop sustainable solutions.
  • Execute special projects as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Two years related experience.
  • Experience with project management.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with Indigenous communities.
  • Mentoring, teaching, and supervision of interns and employees.

Benefits

  • Salary range of $48,000 - $84,100 Annually, targeted at $78,000 commensurate with experience.
  • Full-time position with a Monday to Friday schedule from 8:30 am to 5 pm.
  • Remote work option.
