About the position

The Mental Health Security Representative at East Alabama Medical Center is responsible for ensuring the safety of patients and staff within the unit. This role requires the ability to handle multiple priorities, make independent decisions under pressure, and manage stress effectively while working collaboratively with others. The representative will also be tasked with managing non-compliant behaviors using appropriate CPI techniques.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• BLS certification within 90 days of date of hire or transfer.
• CPI certification within 90 days of date of hire or transfer.

• Background in law enforcement.
• Experience in security work or healthcare.
