Responsibilities
- Provide excellent care, comfort, and security to patients and families during their vulnerable times.
- Assist in the daily living activities of patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Monitor patient behavior and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
- Engage patients in therapeutic activities and support their treatment plans.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.
Requirements
- A minimum of a High School Diploma with patient care experience is required.
- Post-secondary training or education in a related field with experience preferred.
- Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
- Ability to remain calm in a dynamic environment is necessary.
- Commitment to providing a high level of care to patients of all ages is required.
- Excellent customer service skills and a reliable attendance profile are essential.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
