Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent care, comfort, and security to patients and families during their vulnerable times.
  • Assist in the daily living activities of patients, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Monitor patient behavior and report any significant changes to the nursing staff.
  • Engage patients in therapeutic activities and support their treatment plans.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff.

Requirements

  • A minimum of a High School Diploma with patient care experience is required.
  • Post-secondary training or education in a related field with experience preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to remain calm in a dynamic environment is necessary.
  • Commitment to providing a high level of care to patients of all ages is required.
  • Excellent customer service skills and a reliable attendance profile are essential.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a behavioral health setting is preferred.
  • Knowledge of mental health issues and treatment modalities is a plus.
