About the position
The Therapist position within Grow Nurturing Families at TFI Family Services focuses on providing clinical interventions to families with children aged 2-7 using Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT). This role emphasizes the development of clinical skills in a supportive team environment, offering opportunities for training, certification, and clinical supervision to meet licensure requirements. The position allows for flexible scheduling and remote work capabilities for those in the Emporia area.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical interventions to families using Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT).
- Engage with families and schedule weekly therapy appointments.
- Participate in case staffings and clinical supervisions.
- Complete necessary documentation for therapy sessions.
- Collaborate with a Support Worker for case management services.
Requirements
- Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
- Experience working with children and families in a therapeutic setting.
- Ability to obtain PCIT training and certification.
Nice-to-haves
- Previous experience with play therapy techniques.
- Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic models.
