About the position

The Mental Health Therapist role at Lyra Health involves providing short-term, evidence-based therapy through an innovative video therapy program. Therapists will maintain a diverse caseload, utilizing digital tools to enhance client outcomes while delivering culturally responsive care. The position emphasizes continuous learning, peer support, and access to expert consultation, making it ideal for licensed clinicians who thrive in a feedback-rich environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video sessions.
  • Maintain a caseload of diverse clinical needs and monitor client outcomes.
  • Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients.
  • Participate in one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings.
  • Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews and attend training sessions.
  • Utilize resources for complex client cases, including specialty consultations.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license without disciplinary action.
  • Experience providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT).
  • Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
  • Experience providing video therapy.
  • Ability to maintain a full clinical caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients (30 potential bookable spots).
  • Full-time resident of the United States.
