About the position
Lutheran Social Services of WI is seeking a Mental Health Therapist, either licensed or in training, to provide individual and group mental health and addictions services to veterans. This role involves clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of individuals with mental health and substance use disorders, working collaboratively with clients and their families to develop effective treatment plans. The position is full-time, benefits-eligible, and primarily remote, requiring bi-weekly on-site visits to programs in Green Bay and Chippewa Falls.
Responsibilities
- Provide individual, couples, family, and group psychotherapy services to clients.
- Conduct assessments of client needs using clinical interviews and diagnostic tools.
- Develop collaborative treatment plans with clients.
- Maintain detailed clinical records and make recommendations regarding case disposition.
- Complete agency-required and billing-related communications in a timely manner.
- Adhere to ethical standards and best practice guidelines.
Requirements
- Licensed or in training as a Mental Health Therapist.
- Experience in providing mental health and addictions services.
- Ability to conduct clinical assessments and develop treatment plans.
- Strong communication skills for client interaction and documentation.
