About the position

The Mental Health Therapist position at Lyra Health involves providing short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video sessions to clients with diverse mental health needs. The role emphasizes culturally responsive care and includes the use of digital tools to enhance client learning and monitor outcomes. Therapists will have access to peer support, expert consultation, and ongoing training to ensure high-quality care delivery while working remotely.

Responsibilities

• Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video sessions.
• Maintain a caseload of diverse clients with varying clinical needs.
• Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients to enhance learning and monitor outcomes.
• Participate in one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings.
• Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews and attend training to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements

• Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
• Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license without current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
• Experience and commitment to providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT).
• Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
• Experience providing video therapy and maintaining a full clinical caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with culturally responsive care.
