About the position

The Mental Health Therapist role at Lyra Health involves providing short-term, evidence-based therapy through a digital platform, focusing on enhancing access to mental health care. Therapists will maintain a diverse caseload, utilizing innovative tools and resources to support clients' mental health needs while working remotely. This position emphasizes culturally responsive care and offers continuous professional development opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide short-term, evidence-based treatment via live video sessions.
  • Maintain a caseload of diverse clinical needs.
  • Assign digital lessons, videos, and assessments to clients to enhance learning and monitor outcomes.
  • Participate in one-on-one and peer group clinical consultation meetings.
  • Conduct peer-based quality assurance reviews and attend training to enhance clinical skills.

Requirements

  • Master's degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
  • Unrestricted LCSW, LMFT, LPC, PsyD, PhD, or equivalent license without current, past, or pending disciplinary action.
  • Experience and commitment to providing evidence-based treatments (e.g., ACT, CBT, CPT, DBT).
  • Experience managing risk and responding to clinical crises.
  • Experience providing video therapy.
  • Ability to maintain a full clinical caseload of adult and/or adolescent clients (30 potential bookable calendar spots).
  • Ability to work full-time, approximately 40 hours per week.
