About the position

The Mental Health Therapist at St. Luke's Health System is responsible for providing exceptional behavioral health care to a diverse patient population in a supportive and inclusive environment. This role involves working within a multidisciplinary team to develop advanced practice skills and utilize various treatment programs to address mental health challenges, particularly in rural Idaho.

Responsibilities

  • Provide mental health therapy to a diverse patient population.
  • Participate in case consultations with multidisciplinary team members.
  • Utilize Feedback Informed Treatment practices in therapy sessions.
  • Access and implement various treatment programs such as Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia.
  • Maintain administrative responsibilities as part of the daily schedule.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Provider certification.
  • License in Idaho as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Masters Social Worker (LMSW), Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
