About the position

Accenture is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the project management and contract delivery for the Mission Critical Infrastructure team. This role involves designing MEP solutions and managing project deliverables in a client-facing environment, while also supporting account management and opportunity development.

Responsibilities

  • Perform on-site and virtual assessments of data center facilities, documenting detailed understanding of various systems.
  • Review As-Built MEP Construction Documents for system capacities and maintainability.
  • Understand Uptime Institute Tier requirements to assess existing facilities and propose design improvements.
  • Provide recommendations on systems selection, sizing, location, and operations.
  • Conduct RFP, bid meetings, and constructability reviews to optimize client benefits.
  • Support Construction Teams by providing instructions to General Contractors and managing procurement activities.
  • Monitor project work to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and contract compliance.
  • Implement change management programs to manage impacts on cost, schedule, and deliverables.
  • Develop schedules of values, review purchasing, and manage cost-to-complete against budget.
  • Provide on-site construction Project Management to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Generate and review field reports, track requests for information, and prepare punch lists.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience with MEP systems evaluation, design, and construction oversight.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in managing large, complex data center construction projects.
  • Ability to review and develop complete construction packages including drawings and specifications.
  • Detailed understanding of monitoring and control systems for data center MEP systems.
  • Competence with leading CAD packages such as AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
