About the position

Accenture is seeking a Senior Engineer to support the project management and contract delivery for the Mission Critical Infrastructure team. This role involves designing MEP solutions and managing project deliverables in a client-facing environment, while also supporting account management and opportunity development.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and virtual assessments of data center facilities, including interviews with engineering, operations, and maintenance staff.
• Review As-Built MEP Construction Documents for system capacities and maintainability.
• Understand Uptime Institute Tier requirements to assess existing facilities and recommend design improvements.
• Provide recommendations on systems selection, sizing, location, and operations.
• Conduct RFP, bid meetings, and scoping meetings, and perform constructability reviews and value engineering of project drawings and schedules.
• Support Construction Teams by providing instructions to General Contractors and coordinating procurement activities.
• Monitor project work to ensure adherence to schedule, budget, and compliance with contracts.
• Implement change management processes as necessary.

Requirements

• Proficient in designing MEP solutions with experience in project management.
• Strong understanding of data center facilities and MEP systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection.
• Experience with Uptime Institute Tier requirements and their application in facility assessments.
• Ability to conduct assessments and provide detailed recommendations for system improvements.
• Experience in managing client relationships and supporting account management.
