Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for various projects including commercial, K-12, higher education, and light industrial.
• Serve as the first point of contact for clients in a project management role.
• Conduct construction cost estimating and submittal reviews.
• Perform field observations and review pay applications.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including Mechanical, Plumbing, Architecture, Structural, and Civil engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed to practice engineering in Texas (EIT or PE).
• 5 years of experience in power and lighting system design.
• Experience in writing specifications.
• Familiarity with the latest building and electrical codes, including the National Electrical Code and ICC codes.
• 5 years of experience with AutoCAD and REVIT software.
• Current valid Driver License and insurable driving record.
• Professional appearance and excellent communication skills.

• Experience in project management.

• Experience in Backup Generator Design Standards.
• Experience in Fire Alarm design.
• Experience in Structured Cabling / Telecommunication system design.
